Gosaikunda is one of the holiest lakes in Nepal. According to Hindu tradition, Shiva created it by driving his trident into the mountainside to find water after swallowing poison, and every August thousands of pilgrims walk up for the full moon of Janai Purnima. On foot from the road it takes two or three days; by helicopter, it's about 35 minutes from Kathmandu.
The helicopter lands on the shore at 4,380 m, beside the shrine and the pilgrims' rest houses. From late spring to autumn the lake is a deep blue, and from around December to April it's frozen white. You'll have about half an hour to stroll along the shore, visit the shrine and look across to the Langtang range and Ganesh Himal.
On the way home, the pilot can follow the chain of lakes along the ridge, including Bhairab Kunda and Saraswati Kunda, before dropping back down to the Kathmandu Valley.

Yes, with a landing at each. The flight is longer, so we price it as a custom charter. Just tell us how many of you there are.
